New leadership at Cerved to drive innovation and international growth

Cerved, an Italian business information company, has announced the appointment of Giuseppe Del Deo as Executive Chairman and Luca Peyrano as Chief Executive Officer. This leadership change is aimed at accelerating the company’s development and international expansion, particularly by focusing on innovation, cybersecurity, and new high-value services for businesses across Italy, France, and Germany.

Giuseppe Del Deo brings decades of experience from the top levels of Italy’s intelligence community and is known for his expertise in economic and financial intelligence. In his new role at Cerved, he will be responsible for ensuring the protection of strategic information and safeguarding critical infrastructures essential to the country’s economic resilience.

Meanwhile, Luca Peyrano – currently Executive Chairman of Cedacri and equipped with a strong background in global financial markets – will lead the development and internationalisation of Cerved’s services. Since 2020, he has served as General Manager at ION Analytics, a leading provider of capital markets data and intelligence.

Together, under this new leadership structure, Cerved aims to reinforce its core competencies while strategically expanding into key areas such as predictive analysis of geopolitical risks, cybersecurity, supply chain continuity, and data services for both private companies and public institutions. To achieve this, the company plans to create an integrated ecosystem of advanced monitoring and protection solutions that will support long-term growth and resilience.
