Lorenzo Vangelisti, an experienced manager and investor who is Valeur Group’s founder and CEO, boasts two decades of international experience in the financial sector. Born in Mendrisio, Switzerland, in 1977, he has earned a significant place in the industry through his specialisation in structured products and derivatives.
Lorenzo Vangelisti started his professional journey immediately after completing his studies at the Scuola Cantonale di Commercio di Bellinzona. His career took off in the Private Banking division of Credit Suisse, where he began as an Assistant Relationship Manager. This early experience laid the foundation for his expertise in financial services. A commitment to lifelong learning has been a hallmark of his career. In 2001, he obtained the Swiss Certified Banking Specialist Certificate, issued by Centro di Studi Bancari (Vezia). Subsequently, in 2004, he earned the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Lorenzo Vangelisti’s journey within Credit Suisse saw him progressively taking on more significant roles. Until 2006, he served as a specialist in Structured Products and Derivatives for the bank’s Private Banking division. His skills were recognised and led him to the position of Vice President of the Private Banking network. In 2007, Lorenzo Vangelisti moved to London, taking on the role of Director of Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives at Credit Suisse. During this time, he was responsible for managing institutional clients in Italy, Switzerland and Monaco.
In 2010, he took a bold step by founding Valeur Group, an independent group active in asset management, advisory, trading, research and real estate. As CEO and partner, Lorenzo Vangelisti played a key role in driving the company’s growth. Under his leadership, Valeur Group has grown and now includes Valeur Capital Ltd, Valeur Securities SA, Valeur SA, Valeur Concept SA and LinkedTrade Technologies. This diversification has enabled the group to offer an all-round service, consolidating its reputation for excellence.
