Amazon, the biggest e-commerce company founded by Jeff Bezos (2020’s richest man in the world according to Forbes magazine), is celebrating its birthday. Initially created as an online bookstore and launched in 1995, it arrived in Italy on 23 November 2010, totally revolutionizing the way we go shopping. Even the more traditionalists and people over 50 can no longer do without the platform and they feel completely safe in managing their online purchases, also thanks to the easy return policies that the site offers.
For its 10 years, Amazon.it decided to reward its users by giving away gift vouchers of up to 10,000 euros. A little over a month to Amazon’s famous Black Friday week and not too far away from the holiday season, it could be the right chance to win a good amount of money to be spent on Black Friday’s crazy sales or to get a head start on Christmas presents. Let’s see in detail what it is about and how to win the gift vouchers.
In order to participate in the competition, all you have to do is make a purchase on your Amazon account for an amount greater than or equal 30 euros, making sure that the product you buy is shipped and sold by Amazon. The minimum price threshold will not take into account Amazon Warehouse Deals, products sold by third parties on the Marketplace, digital products and/or services that do not require physical delivery (therefore no ebooks, apps, music, software, gift vouchers and the likes), any shipping and/or gift packaging costs associated with the order and any registration costs.
The purchase must be made between 00:00 on 19 October 2020 and 23:59 on 15 November 2020. For each order that meets the above parameters, you will receive a numeric participation code that you will need to take part in the draw. A maximum of 10 eligible orders can be placed from each account. All codes will then be sent all at once to the email address associated with the account, on 19 November 2020. Amazon rewards loyalty and that’s why, if you have a Prime membership, your chances of winning are doubled. For every order placed from a Prime membership account, you will receive two codes instead of one.
On 23 November 2020, on Amazon’s 10th birthday, the winning codes will be randomly drawn, and then the winners will be notified by email between 24 November and 8 December 2020. Gift vouchers will be sent instead within two months from the extraction date.
What are the prizes
The first prize comes with two digital Amazon gift vouchers worth 5,000 euros each (for a total amount of 10,000 euros ), which will be assigned to a single participation code.
The second prize comes with 10 gift vouchers worth 1000 euros each that will be assigned to 10 participation codes.
The third prize comes with 100 gift vouchers worth 100 euros each, that will be assigned to 100 participation codes.
